Getting Around
UBER is very easy in Portugal and highly suggested over local taxis. When you arrive from the airport in ARRIVALS, call an uber to your hotel in Sintra or Lisbon. We advise you to not take taxi’s from the airport as many taxis will take you on a bad route that will increase the taxi fare. We also highly suggest Uber or Lyft as your primary transportation during your stay—-they are frequent and affordable!
RENTAL CARS are not necessary for our wedding weekend, but if you decide to take a road trip before/after the prices are fair. It’s a good idea for a car rental if you want to drive to Estoril, Cascais, Sintra, Palmela, Sesimbra, etc.. Be warned, if you decide to do rental cars it is hard to find parking in downtown Lisbon and the roads can get really tight and narrow! Although, there are plenty of parking lots.
